Courtney Love shares throwback photo of late rocker Kurt Cobain gazing at baby daughter Frances Bean
Courtney Love shared a throwback Instagram post this weekend honoring her late husband Kurt Cobain.
She uploaded a picture that showed Kurt in bed staring lovingly at their daughter Frances Bean when she was a baby.
‘Sometimes the male gaze is everything,’ wrote Courtney, 56, who has retained the last name Cobain on her Instagram.

Courtney and Kurt tied the knot in February 1992 on Waikiki Beach in Hawaii and welcomed Frances that August.
While he became a global superstar in the band Nirvana she was fronting the alternative rock band Hole.
Their relationship was scarred by heroin abuse – and she has denied allegations that she was using the drug while pregnant.
Kurt eventually committed suicide by gunshot in 1994 and Courtney was left to raise their daughter without him.

Last month it emerged Courtney owes more $357,260.94 in back taxes, according to The State of California Franchise Tax Board.
The singer-songwriter was one of the celebs listed on the board’s list of 500 delinquent taxpayers, Page Six reported.
She has past has issues with the taxman, as in 2018, she dealt with a tax lien for $568,674.62 over her 2016 tax returns, The Blast reported.

Last month Courtney also apologized online for a post denouncing Kurt’s bandmate Dave Grohl over a royalty agreement she signed while ‘broken’ as a new widow.
She said she had ‘had enough’ of the ‘chaos and fury over Kurt’s death being directed at me, deflected by Dave’ over the years.
Courtney also accused Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor of ‘systemic abuse of kids’ including ‘girls as young as 12,’ but has apologized for that as well.
‘I need to apologize for my recent post. It was insensitive and it was wrong,’ she wrote in her apology vowing to ‘do better.’
