Courtney Love sued for stalking woman involved with daughter’s husband

Courtney Love is being sued for harassing and stalking a woman who has a child with the ex-husband of her daughter Frances Bean Cobain.

Rock musician Isaiah Silva was married to Cobain from 2014, but she filed for divorce from him in March 2016.

He has since had a child with Jessica Sullivan who, according to TMZ, lived in the same house as the former couple in December 2014.

Sullivan has filed a lawsuit alleging that Love and her manager, Sam Lutfi – who worked for Britney Spears during her famous breakdown – claiming they attempted to bribe her to take Frances Bean Cobain’s side during divorce proceedings.

She has also alleged they harassed and stalked her.

In court documents, Sullivan claims Lutfi told her: ‘Your kid will be in an orphanage,’ and that he called her a ‘f****** c***’.

Love has been trying to retrieve an iconic guitar that belonged to the late Kurt Cobain, but Silva has successfully fought to retain it during divorce proceedings.

He alleged, though, that in June 2016, Lutfi and Love, along with a group of men tried to kidnap and kill him to take the guitar back. Silva has filed a civil suit seeking damages, and now, Sullivan is suing for stalking and emotional distress.

She also claimed that Love and her manager put her phone number in Craiglist’s free section to advertise her daughter’s puppy, and she was ‘flooded’ with calls as a result.

Frances Bean Cobain ex Isaiah Silva says Courtney Love plotted to MURDER him over Kurt Cobain guitar

Courtney Love plotted to have daughter Frances Bean Cobain’s ex-husband Isaiah Silva murdered over a guitar her late spouse Kurt Cobain used in one of his defining moments, Silva claims in a new lawsuit.

Silva, in civil court docs filed in Los Angeles County, named Britney Spears’ ex-manager Sam Lutfi, 43, and actor Ross Butler, 28, in his filing, which claimed that the two worked in concert with Love, 53, in a plot that involved attempted murder, kidnapping, sexual assault, false imprisonment, extortion and illegal drug use in an effort to repossess the valuable guitar – an acoustic-electric 1959 Martin D-18E Kurt used in his famed 1993 performance on MTV Unplugged.

Insiders told Billboard that ‘Frances and the family are prepared to fight with a fury of unprecedented legal force and they will prevail.’

Silva, 33, claimed in legal docs that Frances, 25, gave him the guitar as a present in 2014 to commemorate their anniversary as a couple; he said for the same occasion, he had a room in their West Hollywood, California home renovated to tailor Frances’s interests.

Silva said that Love even granted Frances her legally-required permission to take the guitar from where it was being stored.

Silva told the court that Frances broke up with him in February 2016, filing for divorce the following month, and didn’t ask for the guitar back.

But when Love and Lufti – who he described as a ‘rottweiler’ for the Hole singer – became involved in the situation, the threats were ramped up. He said that Lufti provided Frances with drugs such as benzodiazepines, using Butler as a delivery man. He said the drug use was a sticking point in their relationship, and put her health in danger, as Frances had a seizure at one point due to using them.

Silva said that Love and Lutfi ‘became obsessed with finding a way to retrieve the guitar from’ him while he and Frances tried to work out their split sans lawyers, leading to the allegations linked to murder.

Silva said Love, Lutfi, Butler had help from Yan Yukhtman, a chauffeur, to hack into his iMessage account and put out texts ‘making it appear [he] was despondent and on a mental precipice contemplating suicide,’ giving them an alibi for their further plan to kidnap and kill Silva and make it appear as if he killed himself. Silva said he reported the texts to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The aforementioned incident marked ‘a disturbingly similar pattern and course of conduct to the modus operandi of Lutfi,’ who past had his name in the news amid his association with Britney Spears during her dark days a decade ago.

Silva said that Love, with help from Lufti, issued threats to his friends and relatives to sour them on him. He told the court that around midnight on June 3, 2016, he and a friend were watching a movie at home when Lutfi, Butler and Yukhtman broke into the residence and said they were police officers.

The trio forcibly removed the friend from the house, at which point Silva said Lufti grabbed his ‘genitals through his pants,’ and threatened that he and the other two men would ‘take turns f***ing’ him unless he calmed down.

Silva said that the men forcibly removed him from his house and into a Cadillac Escalade, but were thwarted by Silva’s aforementioned friend, who contacted 911 and blocked the Escalade with his own vehicle.

Silva said police cars and a helicopter were dispatched to the scene, spurring Lutfi to make up ‘a false story intended to prevent LAPD from arresting them,’ threatening Silva he would murder family members of his, including his seven-year-old daughter, Arlo.

Silva said he was ‘in shock and fearing for his life and the lives of his family and daughter’ when he told police that he was friends with the three men, and that the kidnapping was a gag. Silva said he thinks he ‘would have been taken to a secondary crime scene and murdered’ if his friend and cops did not intervene in the situation.

Silva said that after the police vacated the scene, he and the trio went back to the house and they held him hostage until he told them where the guitar was. He said that Lufti subsequently devised a legal settlement that would end the harassment and pay him $120,000 if he gave back the guitar and relinquished all claims in the divorce from Cobain.

Silva said Lufti continued to harass and stalk him and his family to apply pressure toward the settlement, and that he was afraid to seek help from the authorities amid Lufti’s claims that Love had major influence with the police, courts and media.

He eventually reported it five days later and was subsequently granted a temporary restraining order against Lutfi.

Douglass Unger, Silva’s lawyer, told Billboard Silva kept the guitar in a settlement earlier this year.

The possession of the guitar has been a sticking point for Silva and Frances Bean in the wake of their 2016 split, with Love telling TMZ she felt the musical instrument – which experts estimate to be worth millions of dollars, according to the outlet – was a ‘treasured heirloom of the family’ and not Silva’s ‘to take’ for himself. (The piece itself is a rarity, having only been made for a year, with special modifications the Smells Like Teen Spirit singer made to it.)

Silva also mentioned in court docs that Cobain’s mother Wendy O’Connor ‘believed Love to be involved in the alleged suicide of her son, Kurt Cobain,’ and was ‘keenly aware of the disturbing correlations between his circumstances and those of O’Connor’s late son.’
