Covid-19 Australia: New Sydney venue exposure alerts and virus sewage

Urgent alert for a busy Thai restaurant, a Starbucks and ANOTHER shopping centre as 22,000 Sydneysiders are told Covid is in sewage from 15 suburbs

Covid fragments have been found in sewage from 15 suburbs where 22,500 Sydneysiders live, as even more venues are added to the city’s swelling exposure list.

NSW Health issued the alert on Tuesday evening after the particles were discovered at the Lough Park Sewage Network Investigation Site, in the city’s eastern suburbs.

The catchment area includes Clovelly, Waverly, Randwick, Centennial Park, Queens Park, Bondi, Bondi Junction, Bellevue Hill, Double Bay and Woolhara.
