Outrageous footage has emerged of a truck driver carrying a ‘leaning tower’ of pallets through a number of busy suburban streets and a highway this week.

The footage, captured by another disbelieving driver, showed the truck at Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast.

In the video, the incredibly dangerous high-stack – featuring a tower of boxes and crates topped with a bucket and a large blue canister – looks certain to fall out and spill onto the road.

Remarkably, the driver manages to make it around the bend, with the load – believed to be held together by just one band – somehow staying intact.

Police have advised drivers to be aware of the weight of multiple items they are securing to their vehicles.

Double demerit traffic offences also apply leading into the Anzac Day public holiday on Monday.

Also in Queensland, one motorist said he tried to repeatedly warn a truck driver about the ominous height of a digger he was carrying.

The warnings were ignored and it proved costly, with the digger smashing into an overpass on the Centenary Motorway in Brisbane.

‘F*** yeah you got her, you f***ING got her mate,’ the motorist could be heard saying after the impact, according to Nine News.
