Cringe-worthy interview where Trump talks about Tiffany’s breasts re-emerges

As British and American journalists alike remember the legacy of the late Robin Leach, his interview with President Trump has re-emerged and is stirring controversy all over again.

Leach, who passed away on Friday, interviewed The Donald on his show Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous in 1994.

The cringe-worthy footage sees the then 48-year-old Trump sit alongside his second wife Marla Maple to gush about his one-year-old daughter Tiffany.

When asked what attributes Trump thinks baby Tiffany inherited from each parent Trump offers a stunning response referring to the child’s breasts.

‘I think that she’s got a lot of Marla, she’s really a beautiful baby,’ he says to Leach.

‘She’s got Marla’s legs. We don’t know whether or not she’s got this part yet but time will tell,’ he says mimicking holding breasts on his chest, as Maples giggles.

The video was brought to light in an old episode of The Daily Show where host Trevor Noah is left gob-smacked by the president’s suggestive comment.

After that interview received heated comments when it resurfaced in 2016, Leach defended Trump.

‘I think it’s an overreaction to be really honest, and I think that it’s just the piling on of those that dislike Donald,’  Leach told Inside Edition in a 2016 interview.

‘You’ve triggered a thought that I should send him a note saying, “Sorry I asked the question 22 years ago. How ridiculous they dig it up now,”” he added.

When Daily Show host Trevor Noah aired the clip in 2016 he said: ‘We know for sure that there’s no female too small for Trump not to reduce her to her body parts. And I don’t even think that Trump was trying to be funny or provocative, it just clearly shows that it’s an impulse for him.’

During his 2016 campaign Tiffany famously dodged a kiss from her father following a presidential debate in a video clip that went viral soon afterwards.

Trump’s 1994 interview is just one of many suggestive comments he’s made about his daughters.

When his daughter Ivanka was just 16 she hosted the 1997 Miss Teen USA pageant where Trump asked the Miss Universe ‘Don’t you think my daughter’s hot? She’s hot, right?’, according to the Independent.

During an interview with The View in 2006 he famously said: ‘I’ve said that if Ivanka weren’t my daughter perhaps I’d be dating her.’

On the Howard Stern Show in 2004 he called Ivanka a ‘piece of a**’.

He also made a comments on her breast on the Howard Stern Show in 2006 when the show host said Ivanka ‘looks more voluptuous than ever’ and asked if she got breast implants.

Trump responded saying: ‘She’s actually always been very voluptuous. She’s tall, she’s almost six feet tall and she’s been, she’s an amazing beauty.’
