Critics’ Choice Awards: The ladies lead the red carpet

Stars descended upon the blue carpet on Thursday night in Santa Monica for the 23rd annual Critics’ Choice Awards.

And Angelina Jolie led the way for this year’s ceremony in a strapless white gown with feathered detailing and an asymmetrical hemline.

Diane Kruger, Emma Roberts, Kate Bosworth and Saoirse Ronan joined Angelina on the carpet in white frocks as well for the awards show on Thursday at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California – a stark contrast to the all-black looks for the Golden Globes just four days prior.

Angelina was a vision in her form-fitting neutral gown, which hugged her svelte frame; the textured frock gave a glimpse of her sculpted pins beneath the draped hemline.

The mother of six, 42, paired the textured look with chunky diamond earrings, crimson lipstick and suede strappy cream heels.

Angelina styled her long brunette hair half up and half down, opting for volume and subtle waves.

Diane, 41, wowed in her custom Vera Wang ivory gown, which had a silver chain accent and draped sleeves; the German-born actress arrived with her boyfriend The Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus, 49.
