A cyclist has been pushed into the ground in an aggressive encounter with frustrated passenger.

Video footage – from inside the car – shows the shocking moment a man reaches out of a car and uses force to steer the cyclist off the road.

The violent video follows the continuous debate over road-ownership as motorists and cyclists often bash heads.

The clash occurs in a flash when the man in a light-blue t-shirt lifts half his body through the window.

The vehicle is moving at speed as the aggressor hangs his body out of the car.

The cyclist – wearing black and an electric blue helmet – is unable to deter the impending crash as he loses control of his bike.

In a split second, the he is wheeled to the left, toward the road-side greenery.

The speed and intensity of the push lifts the cyclist airborne before his head-first tumble.

An elegant forward-roll brings the blue helmet man crashing down in a 360 motion.

The attacker appears uninterested by the safety of his victim or the damage he caused as the car continues to travel along the road at speed.

The video was shared in an Australian Facebook group, Perth – Have A Whinge, but it may have been filmed in Europe.
