A cyclist has been filmed causing havoc on the road before smashing into a vehicle and riding off without leaving his details.
In dashcam footage uploaded to Dash Cam Owners Australia, traffic can be seen stopped at a red light before being given the signal to turn left.
As the vehicle recording approaches the turn, a cyclist can be seen overtaking three cars stopped at a red light, running the light himself.

The cyclist is very clearly swerving over the road and riding erratically, dodging oncoming cars
Swerving all over the wrong side of the road, the cyclist is almost hit by oncoming traffic as he hurtles towards the turning vehicle.
Riding at full speed, the cyclist has no time to brake and slams into the bonnet of the family car.
After the collision, the driver can be heard saying ‘what are you doing?’.
‘Are you alright mate? F***ing hell,’ he says.
As the driver pulls over to make sure the cyclist is uninjured, the rider then jumps back on his bike and frantically rides off.

The driver, known as Michael, claimed the incident left his car with a ‘fat dint and a 15cm black scratch on the hood’.
‘I didn’t see him until a second before he collided into me. Being concerned that I could have seriously injured this person, I pulled over,’ Michael captioned the video.
‘Only to find this d**k got back on his bike and rode off. Would love to have gotten this guy’s ID.’

Social media was quick to point the finger at the cyclist and suggest all riders need to be registered.
‘Bloody road toads. Hence why we need them registered,’ one person said.
‘This is the problem with having bike riders allowed to use the road and we have no way of identifying who they are so if they cause an accident and do a runner you are liable,’ another commented.
Without leaving his details, the driver of the vehicle is left to foot the bill of his damaged car
