When twin kids put their mind to something, it’s pretty hard to stop them.
But in a recent viral video, a father certainly does the best he can as his pair of boys desperately to climb the stairs.
The clip, filmed in Rancho Cucamonga, California, over the Christmas period, shows the unnamed father sitting on the bottom stair as he grapples with his precocious toddlers.

The adorable kids are wearing matching outfits, including grey hoodies and dark pants with an image of a car printed on the rear.
The dad is smiling away as the boys try to walk around him up the stairs, with him snatching one up and putting him back on the ground.
As he lifts one boy over to the side back onto the floor, the brother takes the opportunity to run up the stairs.

But just as he makes it up the first step, dad manages to grab him and place him back on to the floor as well.
The cycle continues throughout the video several times, with mom laughing behind the camera at the spectacle.
The boys catch on that they can get daddy’s attention with their stair-climbing antics and appear to start scaling them just so that dad lifts them up.

Dad, who is wearing medical scrubs suggesting he may have just got home from work as a medical professional, giggles along with his boys.
The online description for the video explains: ‘These kids were learning how to climb up the stairs, but their dad didn’t want them to get hurt.
‘They tried to start their journey to the top multiple times, but their dad swooped in each time and moved them away from the stairs.’
Over the sweet clip, dad lifts up the kids a total of seven times while The Script’s song Hall Of Fame plays in the background.
