Dailymail.com’s spy reveals ALL from inside the Grammys’ most exclusive parties

The final curtain on the Grammy Awards ended a weekend of VERY glamorous parties featuring some of society’s most beautiful and talented stars – together with an army of gormless nepo babies thrown in for good measure.

Happily, while others pressed their faces up to the glass on the outside, dailymail.com was on the inside to witness the good, the bad… and the downright debauched.

Sir Paul McCartney and wife Nancy Shevell must have thought it was Groundhog Day when they showed up to their second roller disco in the space of 24 hours. As my regular readers will know, the Beatles star appeared at the first roller disco of the weekend on Friday night for daughter Stella McCartney’s party to launch her latest collection with Adidas, alongside Dave Grohl, Liv Tyler, Leonardo Di Caprio and Cara Delevingne

But the very next day InterScope Records hosted a Roller Boogie Palace party – and it was showbiz on wheels. Liberty Ross, model wife of Interscope boss Jimmy Lovine, 69, was the perfect hostess escorting Sir Paul and Lady Nancy around the event and even tapping up singer Usher for a drink at the bar.

Thankfully Ms. Ross, 44, was a no-show at Rita Ora‘s party on the same night – as it was where her love rival, Twilight actress Kristen Stewart, held court.

The surly Kristen was dating actor Robert Pattinson when she was famously photographed in a clinch with Liberty’s then husband of 12 years, Rupert Sanderson. The clandestine affair culminated in the end of Liberty’s marriage to The Huntsman film director.

Kristen raised eyebrows when she arrived on the red carpet looking decidedly unkempt in T-shirt and baggy jeans, topped with a mop of greasy hair. One waspish onlooker sniped: ‘She could have at least had a shower.’

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Rita made jaws drop at her eponymous party – where she appeared on the arm of her Oscar-winning director husband, Taika Waititi in a see-through dress enveloped in a black feather boa. Rita darling – sometimes less is more. But who can blame her for wanting to grab headlines – she does have a new album to plug!

But spare a thought for Aerosmith star Steven Tyler, 74. While his daughter Liv, 45, let her hair down on Friday night flirting outrageously with various men at Stella’s party, her father seems to have gone into hiding.

The American Idol judge organized a shindig after the Grammy’s in Beverly Hills in aid of his charity, Janie’s Fund, which raises money for young girls from abusive homes. But Steven mysteriously pulled the plug on the event at the 11th hour. Perhaps his absence might have been a bid to avoid pesky questions about the recent sexual assault accusations levelled at him.

At the end of December, he was accused of historic claims he carried out a sexual assault, battery and emotional distress on a woman who claims to have been in a relationship with the singer when she was a teenager.

On a happier note – American DJ and producer Diplo held a huge house party near the Beverly Hills Hotel on Sunday night.

At the hedonistic bash, Diplo (real name is Tom Pentz) was seen making out with one beautiful lady… and then another one after that. But I’m delighted to report he seems to have settled on a third mysterious woman who he left the party with in the wee hours of the morning.

Over at the Universal after-party, packed with stars from the main event, Stevie Wonder found himself in the company of two brunettes having stumbled into the unisex restrooms. ‘He was such a gent,’ one of the girls gushed, adding, ‘Stevie Wonder rubbed our wrists.’

And speaking of wrists, Machine Gun Kelly was also at the Universal party accompanying his pneumatic fiancée, Megan Fox. The previous evening Megan explained how she’d gone to Clive Davis‘s pre-Grammy party with an unexplained broken wrist. The actress still won’t reveal what led to the injury, but MGK told me a broken bone pales in comparison to the injuries he’s suffered in the past. ‘I got smacked by a bus going full speed once – my head cracked the front window and I just flew,’ he revealed. ‘The right side of my body was all scraped up – it was gnarly!’

Meanwhile, Oscar-winning actor Adrian Brody skulked around the Universal after-party. ‘What’s he doing here?’ asked one reveller. Well, the actor has been in a long-term relationship with disgraced film director Harvey Weinstein‘s ex-wife Georgina Chapman, who heads fashion label Marchesa. This might explain his presence – since her ex-husband’s incarceration for rape and sexual assault, Marchesa saw a huge dip in its profits with celebrities threatening to boycott the brand, which was bankrolled by Weinstein, with Chapman accused of being aware of her husband’s treatment of women. But now it seems all is forgiven – Georgina, 46, has been welcomed in from the cold and is dressing fashion-hungry celebs once more.

Adele held an after-party to celebrate her big Grammy win for best song at celebrity haven Chateau Marmont. The singer was there with her partner, Rich Paul, and the couple have sparked engagement rumors because of the huge sparkler on her wedding finger. But the singer kept schtum about an imminent wedding. When a guest enquired Adele coquettishly avoided the question by declaring: ‘You are very naughty!’

Spotify provoked the ire of people musical industry when they hosted a glittering soiree with guests such as film director Baz Luhrman mingling with emerging artists. The party cost in excess of $500K. The music provider spared no expense with performances by band Wet Leg together with top-shelf booze and intricate lighting props. But one disgruntled musician told me the expense of the party was tone-deaf and a kick in the teeth for struggling musicians. ‘If they can afford to throw a party for half a million, then why can’t they pay artists properly? It’s disgusting’.

Over at rock ‘n’ roll institution The Rainbow Bar on Sunset Strip, I was surprised to see Grammy nominee Beth Hart. The singer was mourning her friend and musical collaborator Jeff Beck who died earlier this year from a viral infection. A tearful Beth told me she had just returned from Beck’s funeral in the UK. But it was Kevin Costner‘s tearful tribute to late singer Whitney Houston which really tugged on the heartstrings at Clive Davis’s pre-Grammy gala. ‘Neither one of us, in the end, could protect your beloved Whitney, but your fingerprints on her life are clean, my friend. You were a miracle in her life.’

A suitably gracious note to end another wild Grammy carousel ride….
