Bringing home the bacon! Engaged dairy farmers Toad Heffernan and Mandy Stone take home $355,000 after winning the House Rules finale …and plan to spend the winnings on their wedding

Toad Heffernan and Mandy Stone quickly became the most beloved couple on this season of House Rules.

And on Monday night the humble dairy farmers from rural NSW took home the ultimate prize of $355,000 when they won the hit renovation show.

The engaged pair plan to spend their winnings on a wedding, they told Now To Love after their victory.

Winners! Toad Heffernan and Mandy Stone have won this season of House Rules

‘We just need to pick a date and obviously contact the people and see if we can book it,’ Mandy told the publication.

The 28-year-old added that they’d start planning their wedding ‘tomorrow’ now that they had the cash to walk down the aisle.

Mandy also plans to invest the money in a long-wanted beauty salon, with only a little being ‘blown’ on a boat.

‘It’s just like the wedding. I’ll be able to get into planning and building the salon a bit sooner,’ she told Now To Love.

Toad, 33, says that while they do have plans for their money, they plan to ‘sit on it a while’ he told The Daily Telegraph after their win.

The couple, who hail from Candelo, in the Bega Valley Shire of NSW, a town of just 300 people, say their victory is also a win for country folks.

‘Australia loves you because you’re real I think … we’re not used to the big smokes stuff. We are who we are and we are proud,’ Toad told the paper.
