Dale Earnhardt Jr and wife make $500k on stunning Key West home

NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr and his wife Amy renovated a posh Florida property that is pending sale for $2.6million.

The contemporary home, located in Key West, was flipped as part of the couple’s DIY Network TV series ‘Renovation Realities: Dale Jr. & Amy,’ according to the Charlotte Observer.

The 1,980-square-foot Southern property was constructed in 1923 and includes three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms.

After the cost of renovations, the pair are expected to make a cool $500,000 or more on the deal.

Earnhardt Jr retired in 2017 as a NASCAR driver after 18 seasons.

He also told the Observer back in February that he is relieved to be retired.

The Earnhardts filmed the renovation project from summer 2017 to March 2018 for their DIY Network series

Earnhardt Jr, who currently works as an NBC NASCAR analyst, said: ‘It’s actually been really nice to not have to worry about performance or living up to expectations, of your own or someone else’s. 

‘It’s been great to get all that off my shoulders.’

Following his retirement, Dale and Amy also welcomed their first baby, Isla Rose Earnhardt, in May.
