The NRL WAGs stormed the Dally M red carpet dressed to the nines on Wednesday night as they accompanied their partners for the league’s night of nights.
And it might be the most daring carpet yet, with sheer corset dresses, eye-popping pink frocks and, most notably, daring thigh-high splits a clear trend among the ladies who weren’t afraid to show off some skin as they fronted the cameras.
All eyes were on the glamorous wives and girlfriends of the NRL’s top players as they filtered into the ballroom at Sydney’s Randwick Racecourse for the prestigious presentation.
And it wasn’t just the WAGs that turned heads as the league’s women stars got their glad rags on in anticipation of taking home an award ahead of the grand final on Sunday.
While many of the glammed-up guests kept to the formal dress code in impeccable style, others ensured eyes were on them for all the wrong reasons.
Miranda Cross, finance of Cameron Murray of the Rabbitohs as well as Ali Brigginshaw of the Brisbane Broncos and her partner Kate Daly oozed elegance earning their spots in the best dressed brigade.
However Jessica Sergis of the Sydney Roosters failed to flatter her enviable figure in an ill-fitting bejewelled dress and Dallin Watene-Zelezniak’s wife Purdy took it to the extreme in an OTT frock with a split that barely protected her modesty.
Kaylah Collins dared to bare alongside husband Lindsay Collins in a sheer corseted dress with a thigh-split that left very little to the imagination in a risque trend that seems to be the look of the moment.
Canberra Raiders captain Jarrod Crocker’s wife Brittany put on a leggy display in a short pearl and feathered white dress. Unfortunately the cut failed to do the stunner any favours as it creased and sagged down her torso as she made her way down the carpet.
NRLW Queensland Marrons player China Polata took a risk in a glittering gown with a plunging neckline, showing off her figure and tattoo. But should any tape in place fail, the star looked to be at a serious risk of wardrobe malfunction.
Isabelle Kelly of the Roosters arrived with her husband Jake Callister in a vibrant neon pink strapless gown however it was let down by the gaudy gloves and clashing yellow clutch.
Apisai Koroisau of the Wests Tigers and his gorgeous partner Amy donned matching black-and-white ensembles, with couples dressing an apparent emerging trend of 2023. However the flowing pleated skirt and satin twist bow on top swamped her petite figure.

While a slight breeze could see Natalie Harris, wife of Warrior’s player Tohu Harris, exposing all thanks to (yet another) impossibly high split
Couple dressing might be back, but when it came to Jamie Soward and his wife Madi, a solo execution may have been a better choice for all
Dallin Watene-Zelezniak’s wife Purdy made a statement in an embellished ruby-red ballgown that saw her navigate another NSFW split.
A slight breeze could risk both her and Natalie Harris, wife of Warrior’s player Tohu Harris, exposing all at the slightest hint of a breeze.
Newcastle Knights player Tyson Frizell’s wife Sammy’s chic black number with sheer sleeves was, unfortunately, also let down by the skirt’s split as the daring trend continued to flood the carpet.
Meanwhile Jessica Sergis of the Sydney Roosters looked like she was heading to a dance competition rather than an awards night in a skin tight diamante covered dress by High Street Hire with visible bra cups and shoulder pads.
Superstar Jakiya Whitfeld of the Wests Tigers also missed the mark in a plunging satin number with ill-placed embellishments that failed to highlight her enviable curves
Lily Pickles (left) went against the grain in a bold pale green better suited for a party on the Mediterranean while Jessica Sergis of the Sydney Roosters wore a bejewelled beige dress with shoulder pads visible and a cut that failed to flatter her incredible figure
Fox Sports journalist Lara Pitt dazzled in a mermaid-green sequin midi dress she styled with long diamond earrings and strappy black heels. Her blonde tresses were pulled back in a fun up-do and she opted for dark moody liner to complete the look.
Miranda Cross, finance of Cameron Murray of the Rabbitohs, was glowing in a goddess-like white gown with her baby bump on show as her hair draped over her bare shoulders.
Looking radiant in red was Ashley Camenzuli who attended with her partner, Panthers player Isaah Yeo, in a two-piece burgundy tube top and full skirt with a stretching train.

Dripping in gold was Leilani Mohenoa who arrived alongside boyfriend Payne Haas of the Broncos and Ali Brigginshaw (right) and her partner Kate Daly were two peas in a pod proving simple can be chic. Ali looked sharp in a tailored tuxe while Kate rocked a black off-shoulder gown
Tiana Penitani of the Sharks had her own Cinderella moment as she dazzled in a pale blue gown looking elegant as ever
Redeeming herself from last year’s worst dressed list was Hudson Young’s girlfriend Kelsea Peck who donned a off-shoulder black gown styled with sparkling diamond details.
