Nia Sioux was just 11 years old when she was thrust into the spotlight with a starring role on Dance Moms.
Now 17, she’s set to become an even bigger name, having landed a plum gig on the world’s most-watched soap opera, The Bold and The Beautiful.
And while she has little acting experience, Nia has certainly had first-hand experience with drama, telling BW magazine on Saturday: ‘We used to say Dance Moms was kind of like a soap opera!’

The teen sensation added of her hit Lifetime reality series: ‘We’d call it a train wreck sometimes too because we were kind of all over the place on the show!’
Dance Moms premiered on Lifetime back in 2011, and revolved around young dancers and their often bickering mothers.
Nia was just one of the youngsters who became a worldwide star courtesy of the show, with Maddie Ziegler and JoJo Siwa also catapulting to fame.

The teen’s mother, Holly Frazier, also appeared on the show, and the pair are extremely close.
The mother-daughter duo have avoided any of the drama that seems to afflict many showbiz families, and have been travelling in Australia together.
During the trip, Nia has shared adorable Instagram snaps with her 4.6 million followers, including one that shows them feeding a kangaroo together.

The star will soon hit screens on The Bold and and the Beautiful where she will play fashion intern, Emma Barber.
And while she’s looking forward to her big new role, Emma has no regrets about her time on Dance Moms.
She told BW: ‘Whenever I go out and people meet me, their parents are like ‘I remember when you were that little’ or people my age will say ‘I grew up with you’… But it’s actually pretty cool. It’s really nice that I can look back and say ‘I did that’.’
