Dancing On Ice star Carlotta Edwards has reportedly fled the country amid the reports surrounding her husband Alexander Demetriou and his skate partner Maura Higgins.
According to The Sun, the beauty, 30, has escaped to her native Canada amid claims Alexander, 28, is ‘besotted’ with the Love Island stunner, 29.
It is said that Carlotta has jetted to the home of parents Nancy and Peter in Port Edward, British Columbia to escape the furore surrounding her relationship.

A source told the publication: ‘Carlotta feels utterly humiliated that Alex has fallen for Maura and seems to have abandoned their marriage.
‘She tried to put a brave face on things during the final but she needed to get away from them both. She is now spending time with her family.’
They added: ‘The fact Alex has since been seen having coffee with Maura and leaving her home speaks volumes.’

Last week, Maura’s professional skating partner Alex was seen leaving her house.
In pictures obtained by The Sun, the skater was wearing a hooded parka jacket as he drove away from her flat in a BMW last Saturday.
The publications reports the pair had spent ‘several hours’ together before he made his exit.
It was recently revealed Alex and Carlotta’s four-year marriage had ‘collapsed’, following his pairing with Maura on the ITV contest, where Alex allegedly became ‘besotted’ with the former Love Islander.
It’s been claimed that cracks reportedly first appeared in Alexander and Carlotta’s marriage in 2019, when he was paired with Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton.

Carlotta was reportedly left jealous of their friendship, and thought she and Alexander had overcome the difficult patch when that series came to an end.
But things are said to have only got worse this year when Alexander was paired with Maura.
It has also been claimed that Alexander confided in Maura about his marital problems, even after the pair were eliminated from the show, with their chemistry catching the eye of several Dancing On Ice co-stars.
A source said at the time: ‘They haven’t been happy together in months, and Alex has been confiding in Maura about their personal problems, which hasn’t helped.’

They added: ‘Their marriage seems to be broken beyond repair, and friends and family are now expecting them to make that publicly known once Dancing On Ice is over.’
‘This will devastate Carlotta. As much as her relationship with Alex has deteriorated, they are still married,’ a source allegedly told The Sun.
‘She was hanging on to a hope they might be able to fix the unfixable. But it seems very clear there won’t be a way back.
‘And seeing Alex emerge from Maura’s flat will be a real kick in the teeth.’
The reports came after it was claimed Maura split from her Love Island boyfriend Curtis Pritchard after rows over her friendship with the skater.
