Nick Lachey was eliminated from Dancing With The Stars on Monday night after suffering a bout of insecurity.
The 43-year-old singer/actor was disheartened after being left at the bottom of the leaderboard and facing elimination several times.
‘I feel like a buffoon…I don’t feel like a dancer, I feel like an idiot trying to be a dancer,’ he complained to his pro partner, Peta Murgatroyd.

Nick’s final dance was a Western-themed samba for Movie Night on the show.
Despite a valiant effort he only scored 26 out of 40.
Guest judge was Canadian superstar Shania Twain, who noticed Nick’s nerves and ‘apprehension’.
‘But when you did that breakdown tonight, you nailed it,’ consoled Carrie Ann Inaba.

‘Now I get to play dad again and support my wife,’ added the former 98 Degrees frontman, whose wife Vanessa is still in the DWTS running.

‘That was so romantic,’ sighed Shania, 52.

Next was 39-year-old Property Brothers star Drew Scott, with 28-year-old Emma Slater.
The karate-lover fulfilled his ‘lifelong dream of becoming an ‘action movie star’ with a paso doble.
The Canadian real estate expert scored 30 – which included three sevens and a nine from Shania.

‘I thought all the drama was captured!’ said Shania who enjoyed the ‘power struggle’ conveyed in the dance.
‘Like Mission Impossible meets The Matrix with the body count of Kill Bill 1,2 and 3,’ joked Bruno, who noted Drew’s timing was a bit off.
