A dangerous rapist is on the loose after taking off his GPS ankle tracker is taunting the police hunting him.
Damien Kennedy wrote ‘come get me mortherf**kers (sic)’ on Facebook claiming to be in Rockhampton, seven hours north of where he absconded in Brisbane.
The 28-year-old was jailed for nine years in 2008 for rape and assault with intent to commit rape against a 49-year-old prostitute in Brisbane.
Dangerous rapist Damien Kennedy taunted police hunting for him after he cut off his GPS monitor and went on the run from his mother’s Brisbane home.
Kennedy was granted parole in January 2013 after completing sex offender rehabilitation programs in prison.
He was being supervised under the Dangerous Prisoners Sexual Offenders Act but removed his ankle monitor and eluded police.
Authorities said his drug addiction ‘may give rise to sexually violent reoffending’.
The heavily-tattooed criminal’s last known location was a park in the Brisbane suburb of Salisbury at 4.13pm on Monday.
Though he claimed to be in Rockhampton in his Facebook post, police believed he was still in Brisbane’s south or nearby Logan.

He may be travelling in a silver 1999 Hyundai Sonata with Queensland registration 739WQU, possibly with a woman.
Kennedy has a history of misbehaviour while on parole, testing positive for drugs six times, particularly meth and marijuana.
The failed drug tests put him in and out of jail until he was allowed to live with his mother in August and described as a ‘work in progress’ who was seeking help for his drug addictions.
He failed yet another drug test on Monday morning hours before he cut off his monitor and fled, as he would be sent back to jail.

Kennedy was described as being 171 centimetres tall, weighing 125 kilograms with fair complexion and shaven black hair.
He has numerous tattoos all over his body including ‘Southside’ across his neck, a Chinese demon on his right shin, ‘love & hate’ on his right-inner forearm, ‘RUN A’ on his right knuckle and ‘Muck’ on his left knuckle.
He faces a minimum year in jail once police catch up to him.
