Daniel James has handed Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a huge fitness boost as the Welsh youngster traveled with the squad to London ahead of Sunday’s game against West Ham.

United are currently plagued by an injury crisis with key stars Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial and Luke Shaw all out after picking up knocks.

James was thought to have been added to that list this week after missing training with an unknown injury. However, the former Swansea player was seen with his team-mates as the Manchester United squad set off for London on Saturday.

The Welshman’s availability will come as a welcome boost for his manager.

James has been one of United’s standout players so far this season, having scored three goals in his first five games for the club.

James was also awarded the club’s in-house Player of the Month Award for August to recognize his fine performances.

With the absence of several key players, it is likely that Solskjaer will turn to younger players when his side visit the London Stadium on Sunday.

Highly-regarded youngster scored his first competitive goal for United in midweek and is likely to play a role in tomorrow’s proceedings.

United will be hoping to make it back-to-back wins on Sunday after last week’s victory over Leicester City at Old Trafford, with a Marcus Rashford penalty separating the two sides.
