She recently admitted to suffering a ‘relapse’ following her near-death experience which saw her being rushed to hospital. 

And Danniella Westbrook proved she was on the mend as she stepped out for the UK Glamour Awards 2018 at Spearmint Rhino in London on Thursday night.

The former EastEnders actress, 44, was in the mood to dazzle as she slipped her figure into a perilously plunging wine-coloured gown which put focus on her surgically-enhanced assets.

Danniella oozed body confidence in the clingy low-cut number which boasted semi-sheer lace sleeves. 

The star sported a glamorous coat of make-up, which consisted of a dewy, contoured base and false lashes. 

Danniella looked in high spirits as she worked her angles at the event and proved she has overcome her latest period of personal woes. 

Late last month, Danniella took to Twitter to confess she had made ‘some bad choices’ as a result of discovering ‘bad news’ about her health.

In a candid message, the reality star, who previously admitted to first experimenting drugs at 14, revealed she has a ‘tendency to run back to what I know in times of struggle and hardship.’

Revealing details of her ‘addiction’ with her keen fans, the Celebrity Big Brother star admitted: ‘Human beings make mistakes…It’s insane but it’s addiction (sic).’ 

‘I hate it & I hate myself after but tbh it’s a illness that twists ur soul. But it’s 1 I battle and won’t let get the better of me’, she continued.

Confessing that she jetted off to her holiday hotspot of Spain for time away from her stresses, Danniella went on: ‘Always x I have had bad news of late about my health and i did what I always do and buried my head for a few weeks in Spain.. made some bad choices because the news has rocked me .. x.’

Danniella’s social media post comes weeks after she was rushed into intensive care with blood infections after she was convinced she was dying.

The TV personality posted a snap of herself attached to a cannula on Twitter, with the accompanying post thanking her son Kai, 21, and Kerry Katona, 37, for their help.

Danniella replied to the singer’s mother on Twitter, explaining that Kerry had come to her rescue when her ‘blood was burning’.

She wrote: ‘Thanks my darling @kerrykatona did a 2 &1/2 hour journey to get to me &get meto the hospital. I had pjs on was so weak. 

‘Was both in tears thought I was gonna die my blood was burning & no one was listening 2 me. Kez took me In & made them listen. I trust her with my life’.

Explaining why she posted about the ordeal, the TV personality said she wanted to be clear about why she was in hospital.

‘I had 2 blood infections &wrong medication. I just wish @BotchedTV  @UnitedSmileCtrs would take responsibility 4 this & put it right’.

As a young actress in the spotlight, Danniella famously snorted so much cocaine that she damaged her nasal septum in 2001, leading her to have restorative surgery.

She had been off drugs for more than a decade but first turned to them once again thanks to a turbulent relationship with 25-year-old cage fighter Tom Richards.

She admitted it was difficult having to deal with her problems in the media spotlight, especially as she has met people who have sold stories about her for their own financial gain.

Speaking on This Morning in 2016, Danniella admitted: ‘Myself and my kids have been through a tough time with my ex partner… I have made a lot of mistakes. I relapsed because I wanted to after I was clean for 13 years. 

‘We all battle with our demons but mine are in the public eye,’ she concluded.
