But Danniella Westbrook was quick to turn her attention to her former EastEnders co-star Barbara Windsor, 80, in light of her recent Alzheimer’s diagnosis – claiming that she was saddened for the icon because they were ‘very similar.’
Speaking to The Sun, the 44-year-old also continued to relay the message that she has left her tumultuous, party hard lifestyle behind her as she detailed her new exercise and nutrition regime.

Barbara was diagnosed in 2014 and has spent the last four years being treated for the condition. She didn’t personally make the announcement; it was done through her husband, Scott Mitchell.
Speaking highly of the icon – who played her on-mum Peggy Mitchell in EastEnders, Danniella revealed: ‘Barbara is the button of life and remembers everybody. She has taught me so much. Me and Barbara are so similar, we both love a toyboy.’
Meanwhile, earlier this month, Danniella was seen stripping down to just her underwear for an impromptu forest exercise session in her home county of Essex.
And the former soap star detailed the workout session in depth – claiming that she is ‘now in a good place’ after upping her exercise.

Danniella revealed that she boxes three times a week, practises a yoga and goes running in her underwear because it gets ‘too hot.’
In the form of her nutrition, the TV star stated that she eats eggs, greens and coloured fruit.
Talk quickly turned to the effects of osteoporosis on her face, something which was initially blamed on drug abuse, according to reports.
It all stemmed from botched dental implants: ‘It was the worst decision I ever made and I’m hoping the new surgery can fix it. But it’s terrifying.’

It has been a troublesome year for Danniella so far. Following an arrest in England over allegations of ‘malicious communications and witness intimidation’ last month, Danniella was also arrested for driving offences while on holiday in Malaga just days later.
Despite the star claiming earlier this week that the case had been dropped a spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police told the publication that she was still ‘under investigation.’
Danniella has previously admitted to a cocaine relapse during her 13 years of being clean.

In 2017, she revealed that she had reverted to drug use after her split from toyboy George Arnold, the year before.
She told Now magazine at the time: ‘I was taking nowhere near what I was doing before, but it was enough. It could have killed me. I didn’t want to live, I hated myself.’
Danniella admitted that her life since has been something of a rollercoaster ride.
She said: ‘If my life was written as a TV soap, it would win every award. You couldn’t make it up.’
