Police have released images of 10 potential witnesses to an incident in which officers shot dead an armed man.

Strike Force Derowrie is investigating the shooting of 30-year-old Danukul Mokmool at Sydney’s Central Station on July 26.

Investigators hope to identify and speak to the witnesses depicted in the photographs and are urging people with information to come forward.

A critical incident team from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad is conducting the investigation as part of the strike force.

Police are appealing for anyone who recognises the people in the images to contact police, and anyone with video footage of the incident to upload it to Crimestoppers.

Mr Mokmool threatened and cut a florist with a glass bottle and armed himself with scissors.

He was then shot as he charged towards officers who had arrived on the scene after reports of an armed robbery.

NSW Police said ‘the investigation will be subject to independent review and all information will be provided to the Coroner’.
