Dave Hughes has revealed the very clever way he does the ‘Tim Tam Slam’.
The comedian and TV personality took to Instagram on Friday to share a video of himself dunking the popular sweet treat into a warm drink to maximise the flavour.
In the clip, the 47-year-old bites two corners off the wafer, before using it as a ‘straw’ in a cup to suck hot coffee through.

In the video, taken at the Hit Network’s radio station in Melbourne, Dave sports a slim-fit grey polo top and pants.
The Project presenter’s hair appears unruly and he prepares to delight viewers with his version of the Tim Tam Slam.
‘Do this. Tim Tam Slam,’ Dave tells his followers, before proceeding to bite two corners off of the chocolate biscuit.

The father-of-three then dunks the slightly chewed biscuit into the cup and sucks hot coffee through it like a straw.

The comedian’s demonstration comes just a week after AFL WAG Rebecca Judd shared her version of the Tim Tam Slam.
In a clip shared to Instagram on Monday last week, the 35-year-old stood in her kitchen, and sported a loose cream-coloured sleeveless top.

‘I’ve been doing this little Tim Tam trick for my entire life and I didn’t know that it actually had a name. The name is Tim Tam Slam,’ the activewear designer said at the start of the clip.
Rebecca then demonstrated how she prepares the biscuit before sucking hot tea through it.
‘You take your Tim Tams,’ she said, adding, ‘You bite the four corners off and then you use your Tim Tam as a straw to suck your hot beverage through and it make your Tim Tam all melty and gooey and delicious!
‘And then you’ve gotta quickly chuck it in your mouth before it all melts in a hot gooey mess in your drink,’ Bec explained.
