David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly amping up their security at their Cotswolds home by building a secret getaway tunnel.
The plans come just weeks after footballer Dele Alli was robbed at knifepoint at his North London home and Robbie Williams spoke about his break-in fears.
According to planning documents obtained by the Express, the family are planning an underground link between their home and garage, as well as a wine cellar.

David, 45, and Victoria, 46, have been spending lockdown in their Cotswolds home with three of their children, Romeo, 17, Cruz, 15, and Harper, eight.
Planning agents for the property said: ‘The proposed development includes a new basement cellar constructed beneath the extension to the existing garage outbuilding with a linked walkway.
‘The basement cellar beneath is for storage of wine and the proposed use of the outbuilding is solely in association with the main dwelling house, it will improve security for the occupants of the property.
‘The proposed [garage] extension adds three new bays to the existing garage outbuilding, increasing the building from four bays to seven.’

Representatives for the Beckhams have been approached for comment.
The family have been sharing an insight into their lockdown while isolating in their country pile on Instagram.

Victoria put her lengthy legs on full display as she donned a pair of denim hotpants whilst sitting her kitchen counter.
She teamed the garment with a slouchy grey shirt, with her typical heels swapped in favour of comfortable slippers.
The singer turned fashion designer captioned the post: ‘My warm weather working from home wardrobe! Shorts & slippers. The dream x Vb’.

The singer shocked fans on Tuesday after her youngest son Cruz, uploaded a rare snap of her smiling for the camera.

He commented: ‘How white are mum’s @victoriabeckham teeth ? it’s Ross from friends’.
David was referring to the sixth season of the hit nineties sitcom, where Ross whitens his teeth for the date until they are unnaturally white, while in another the character gets a spray on tan but it goes horribly wrong.
Cruz, who also wore a white dressing robe, captioned the selfie: ‘Apparently my mum does smile’.
Back in September, Victoria spoke about why she never smiles in public.
I want to be honest. In the past, I’ve probably hidden behind my armour, the not smiling publicly, for instance. There’s less of that now, she told Glamour magazine.
‘There’s something really liberating about embracing who I am at 45-year-old and owning it, feeling confident, feeling content’.
