He was parked up at 3.57pm on a Thursday.

Handheld phones:

It’s illegal to hold a phone or sat nav while driving.

However, it is legal to use a phone if you are safely parked.

He also had his headlights and wipers on and was using his mobile device in a car that was not safely parked.

The incident occurred on Thursday 28 November at around 3.57pm at a set of traffic lights in South Kensington.

Beckham had been parked by a rack of Santander bikes and the size of his vehicle was making it difficult for other cars to manoeuvre.

Speaking to The Sun, one witness said he couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw Goldenballs behind the wheel.

‘I couldn’t believe his audacity. He was texting furiously and oblivious to the rules.

‘After his recent court trouble, I couldn’t believe my eyes.’

Beckham is reportedly worth around £300million and both he and his wife Victoria recently reported losses on their business ventures.

On nearby parking warden said Beckham was a ‘silly guy’ for stopping in the area.

This is while a former driving instructor told The Sun that Beckham’s behaviour was a ‘slap in the face’ for those who had lost loved ones as a result of people being on their phones in the car.

Gary Small from Derby said: ‘It’s clear he’s a habitual offender. He does not give two hoots about the law.’
