Earlier this month, David Warner bid an emotional farewell to his family as he head to Dubai to play in the Indian Premier League.

And his six-year-old daughter Ivy took to social media on Wednesday to pass along a very special message to her cricket star father.

‘Hi dad! Good luck tonight, I hope you win,’ said the adorable girl in a video posted to mum Candice Warner’s account.

‘Go Sunrisers!’ she added, referring to the team of which Warner is captain.

The lovely message comes after the batsman, 34, shared a series of sweet family pictures from their time in lockdown together in Sydney, and expressed how much he will miss them all.

He also shared a special tribute to his former Ironwoman star wife Candice, 36, saying he’s ‘blessed to have her by his side’.
