Deborah Hutton, 59, finally confirms relationship with meditation guru Andrew Marsh

Deborah Hutton has confirmed her relationship with Andrew Marsh. 

There has been chatter about the pair since they met in 2019, but the 59-year-old finally broke her silence on the meditation guru in this week’s Stellar Magazine. 

‘It’s something that’s really lovely in my life,’ she told the publication on Saturday.

The media personality says the romance has given her ‘peacefulness and joy’ and she now feels ‘anchored’. 

Deborah has been very private about the pair’s relationship, and tells Stellar she shares it only with Andrew and ‘very close friends’.  

It’s unclear how long the pair, who previously said they were just good friends, have been in a romantic relationship.

The Sydney Morning Herald reported that the pair grew so tight Marsh told others on the trip he believed he and Hutton must have been together in a ‘past life’.

Last year, the TV star denied that she and Marsh were living together and had referred to him as a ‘dear friend’. 

Their time together has not been without difficulty, as Marsh has found himself facing court in recent months.

Andrew ‘Marshy’ Marsh allegedly broke into the house while his ex-wife and another person were at the home in Bondi, Sydney’s eastern suburbs, on December 14. 

He pleaded not guilty to choking and two counts of common assault and his case was listed for a hearing at Waverley Local Court in August. 

Though magistrate Carolyn Huntsman said the case would be adjourned because of current Covid-19 restrictions.

Outside of court, his lawyer Paul McGirr said he intended to fight some of his client’s charges under section 32 of the Mental Health Act. 

‘We envisage making a mental health application in respect to parts of this matter,’ he told Daily Telegraph.

‘If the prosecution withdraws certain charges, it might be a Mental Health Act application on the remaining ones.’

Marsh was remanded in custody and spent Christmas behind bars before he was granted bail in January. 

Under the strict conditions of his release is been barred from Sydney’s eastern suburbs. 

Although court papers initially listed Marsh’s home address as Hutton’s mansion, the media personality claimed this was not true.

‘Contrary to various media reports, Andrew Marsh is not living with me – I consider him a very dear friend and in what has been an incredibly challenging year for Andrew, I offered him my full support during the breakdown of his marriage as he had nowhere to go,’ she said. 

‘This is totally out of character for him and I’m shocked at what has unfolded over the past few days and hope that Andrew is able to receive the help he clearly needs.’

Marsh was last year convicted on a charge of cocaine possession, but escaped with no additional penalty. 

The former model previously dated celebrity agent Harry M. Miller, with whom she was in a long-term relationship in the 1980s.
