Delivery driver in Uber Eats uniform viciously beats man

  • Two men were filmed punching and kicking another man outside of a takeaway

  • The dazed victim can be heard saying ‘I’m going to shut down your shop’ after

Shocking footage appears to show an Uber Eats delivery worker booting a helpless man in the head during a brawl outside of a Nottingham takeaway.

The vicious attack took at the entrance of a Dixy Chicken takeaway in Nottingham city centre, with the man wearing an Uber Eats bag kicking his victim on the floor.

Footage recorded by a bystander shows the deliveryman, who is also wearing a Deliveroo jacket, alongside a second man who is filmed throwing a barrage of punches.

Both then appear to kick the man in the head as he tries to get up off the floor.

Horrified onlookers bystanders are heard shouting ‘no, no, no’ and ‘are you mad?’ during the attack.

Brave bystanders then step in to break up the fight and help the stricken man. 

The dazed victim can be heard saying ‘I’m going to shut down your shop’ as he struggles to get back to his feet.

Uber Eats say they are reviewing the footage to determine the worker’s identity and the circumstances surrounding the attack.

While the man is also wearing a Deliveroo jacket in the clip, the delivery company is not a partner if Dixy Chicken and a spokesperson confirmed he was not working for them at the time.

Footage of the brawl has been viewed more than 80,000 times since being uploaded to social media yesterday.

Nottinghamshire Police said the brawl has not yet been reported but they are now investigating the footage as a public order incident.

Dixy Chicken could not be reached for comment, it is not known when the incident took place.
