Delta Goodrem reveals shock health news as she calls off her European tour: ‘It hurts my heart to share this with you’

Delta Goodrem has been forced to push back her European Hearts on the Run Tour dates to give herself a strict vocal rest after having ‘no voice for extended periods of time’

The Born To Try hit-maker, 38, announced her ‘difficult’ decision on social media on Thursday. 

The former Neighbours star said she was devastated to let down her international fans, but promised she would see them soon.

‘Hurts my heart to move the shows back but please know I love you all and your support means the world to me,’ she wrote in her statement.

She also revealed she had been forced to push herself through a lot of projects this month.

She believed her voice would heal, but after rehearsing her show doctors ordered Delta to take a break.

She had also prepared a new album around the same time, so she overextended her vocal chords.

The pop superstar assured her fans she would give them a show they wouldn’t forget when she was finally ready to perform.

‘It means the world to me to be at my best for you,’ she added in her message.

Rescheduled dates will be announced as soon as possible, and all tickets have remained valid.

Her Hearts on the Run Tour was expected to begin in Dublin on April 4 before a final performance in Manchester, England on May 3.
