Delta Goodrem ‘still searching for perfect Sydney home’

Delta Goodrem is yet to find her perfect Sydney home, according to Saturday’s The Daily Telegraph.

The Voice Australia judge is said to have told her property industry friends that she is after somewhere ‘quiet and charming yet still close enough to the city’.

The 33-year-old has also reportedly been spotted inspecting luxury apartments in Sydney’s salubrious Double Bay and Potts Point.

The Daily Telegraph reported on Saturday that Delta told her property industry friends that she’s after somewhere ‘quiet and charming yet still close enough to the city to feel the buzz’.

Location is said to be top priority for the songstress, particularly when it comes to grabbing her morning coffee.

The Born to Try singer was reportedly spotted in July inspecting apartments at The Embassy Building in Double Bay, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

In January last year, Delta sold her lavish Hollywood Hills home in Los Angeles, after listing it in March 2016. 

The stunning Mediterranean-style five-bedroom, four-bathroom house sold for US $3.4 million, $800,000 beneath its asking price, The LA Times reported at the time.

Delta bought the property back in 2003, when it belonged to American actor Brad Sherwood.

The luxurious abode features a wrought-iron staircase, a kitchen with four ovens and a large marble island in the centre, a covered patio, an outdoor fireplace, along with a swimming pool and spa.

The house even has its own recording studio featuring a grand piano.
