And on Saturday, Drew Mitchell broke his silence regarding his brief romance with the Born To Try hit-maker.
The 33-year-old told The Saturday Telegraph that long distance played a factor in their split and explained why they hadn’t spoken publicly about that fling in the past.

The Fox sports commentator said they both agreed to not talk about their split at the time: ‘We decided to keep our personal life personal.
Drew said their long-distance relationship was a factor in their break-up, adding he was playing rugby in the south of France at the time.
‘It was a foreign situation for me to be in. This was the first time things were speculated about in my personal life and so we didn’t say anything,’ he added.

Soon after their split, Woman’s Day claimed Delta dumped Drew because he’s simply ‘not her speed’.
A source told the magazine, Delta broke up with Drew over the phone because her work schedule was too intense to sustain a relationship.
‘She’s traveling constantly and working more than ever, and he’s playing footy and enjoys hanging out with the boys and that Bondi crowd,’ the source said.
‘It was fun while it lasted but she was never all that serious about Drew,’ they continued.

The source added the singer found Drew too ‘blokey, boring and immature’ to sustain a partnership with.
The duo were revealed to be dating in August, however neither of them had spoken publicly about the relationship.
It was reported Drew’s Wallabies teammates teased him when the couple first got together, playing Delta’s songs during their training sessions.
