One user said: ‘So… I’m on my flight back to NYC, and the captain just said there’s something wrong with the engine and we are going to land on some island in 40 mins… Okay fine I’ll swim.’

‘I’m still alive! So… we lost one engine, landed on a US air force base in Alaska in the middle of the ocean,’ said one user. ‘Delta sent another plane from Seattle to pick us up, and after waiting for 12 hours we are finally on the flight back what a great story to tell my grandchildren.’
