Demi Lovato couldn’t sing Wednesday.  

The 30-year-old singer was forced to cancel the October 5 performance of her Holy F*ck tour in Rosemont, Illinois.

Writing in Instagram stories, the ailing artist wrote, ‘Rosemont, today I woke up and had absolutely no voice.  I’m so sorry, but it breaks my heart to tell you I have to reschedule the show. Tickets will be honored for a new date as soon as it’s announced.’

The MTV Music Award winner, who uses both ‘they/them’ and ‘she/her’ pronouns, shared her reluctance to call off the performance. 

‘This is the absolute last think I want to do.. I’m having so much fun with you all and I can’t wait to see you again.’

‘Again, I’m so sorry and I appreciate your understanding. I love you all.’

The Heart Attack artist’s next concert is scheduled for Friday, October 7, in Detroit.

It’s unclear yet if her voice will be rested enough to perform.

The Disney alum shared a clip from her high energy show while performing a duet of La La with Ashlee Simpson Ross, 38, in Los Angeles September 28.

The tour to support her eighth album will be her last.  

On September 14, Demi wrote in a since-deleted post on social media that ‘I’m so f— sick I can’t get out of bed. I can’t do this anymore. This next tour will be my last. I love and thank you guys.’

Demi began the tour August 13 in Springfield, Illinois, before heading to Iowa and then South America.

After crisscrossing the southern hemisphere in Brazil, Colombia, Argentina and Chile, she headed back to the US.

If her health allows, the artist is scheduled to keep the show going until November 6th.
