David Carr was found guilty of two counts of aggravated indecent assault and one of common assault in Sydney’s Downing Centre on Monday.
Two more counts of aggravated indecency and one of aggravated indecent assault were dismissed.

The court heard that in one incident, Carr pushed the employee up against a wall and tried to kiss her as she was leaving.
In a later incident, Carr slapped the woman’s backside and said, ‘you are so cheeky’ after he had asked her to return his phone charger, the publication reported.
Carr gave evidence that she was disobeying instructions, and that he had grabbed her when she attempted to leave the room.
Magistrate Daniel Covington reportedly said Carr had no lawful reason for grabbing the woman.
‘She is an employee and she is entitled to run away if she chooses,’ he said.

The woman encouraged others to speak out against sexual abuse.
‘I do hope that if anyone out there has experienced something like this or of this matter, do stand forward, have a voice, raise your opinion and just be strong, because things like this make you stronger,’ she told reporters outside court.
‘I hope it does empower any gender, any race, any age to speak up and have their own opinion and give them the power and strength to stand up for anyone,’

At the time, Carr refuted the reports, claiming he had gone into retirement due to stress, and dismissed the harassment allegations as ‘rumours’.
Carr will be sentenced on July 25.
