Desperate search continues for missing schoolgirl, 15

Girl, 15, who vanished from a Sydney train station wearing her school uniform four days ago is found ‘safe and well’ after desperate appeal

  • Gabrielle Cardozo, 15, was last seen at Artarmon Railway Station on Thursday 
  • She did not turn up at school on Friday and her parents reported her missing
  • Police and family have serious concerns for the 15-year-old’s welfare 

A teenage girl who failed to turn up at school four days ago has been found ‘safe and well’ after a desperate police appeal.  

Gabrielle Lopes Cardozo, 15, was last seen at Artarmon Railway Station in north Sydney at 8.20pm on Thursday.

Her parents reported her missing when they were told she had not turned up at school on Friday morning. 

She was found in Artarmon just after midday on Monday.

Police and family said they held serious concerns for her welfare because her disappearance was out of character. 

The youngster known as Gabi was described as being of South American appearance, about 175cm tall, with light brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a blue dress with white and pink writing, white shoes and black jacket with a school logo.
