Desperate search for a 10-month-old baby last seen being put in the back of a Isuzu wagon outside a doctor’s office – as federal police join hunt

A desperate search is underway for a missing 10-month-old baby who was last seen being put in the back of a station wagon outside a medical practice in Canberra.

Hoang Vinh Le was reported missing on April 9 outside a clinic in O’Conner in the city’s north being loaded into an Isuzu MU-X Wagon with New South Wales registration CF 72 YI.

The Australian Federal Police have launched an urgent investigation into the child’s whereabouts, and believed he is with his mother Lyn Kim Do, 21, and father Hoang Thanh Le, 28.

The pair, who are Vietnamese and Australia nationals, are believed to be in the Bankstown or Liverpool areas in Sydney’s west.

The AFP and Federal Circuit Court of Australia are urging for public help into finding the baby or his parents, who they believe could have headed into the Temora area of New South Wales any time after April 9. 

Ms Do and Mr Le are also believed to have gone through the West Wyalong area in the NSW Riverina region.

Ms Do has been described as being about 150cm tall, with pale skin, black eyes and black shoulder-length hair. 

Mr Le is around 160cm tall with pale skin, black eyes, short black spiky hair, speaks with an Australian accent and answers to the name Sam Le.

The AFP want anyone with information about the whereabouts of Hoang, Ms Do or Mr Le to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
