Desperate search for two young boys, 8 and 9, who disappeared ‘with a teenager’ after a trip to a shopping centre

  • Two boys aged eight and nine missing from Queensland’s Moreton Bay region
  • Last seen at a shopping centre at Morayfield around 12.30pm on Wednesday
  • Police believe the young boys may have travelled to Brisbane with a teenager 

A frantic search is underway for two young boys who have been missing for almost 24 hours.

The Queensland youngsters aged eight and nine were last seen at a shopping centre at Morayfield in the Moreton Bay region around 12.30pm on Wednesday.

Police and family hold grave fears for the boys’ safety, due to their young age and out of character disappearance. 

Police believe the boys may be with another teenage boy and could be travelling to Brisbane. 

The other boy (pictured) was last seen wearing red and black shorts and a jumper.

A desperate search continues for these two young boys (pictured) missing in Queensland

Police launched a public appeal to find the boys early Thursday morning. 

The two boys are both described as Caucasian appearance with short brown hair and dark eyes.

One of the boys was wearing dark tracksuit pants, a grey t-shirt and a ‘NY’ baseball cap. The other was wearing red and black shorts and a jumper.

Both were riding scooters.
