Detox guru’s luxury life on bail in Burradoo, Southern Highlands

Celebrity weight loss guru and horse breeding heiress Savannah Daisley is living a life of luxury on bail as she awaits trial on charges of repeatedly having sex with a 14-year-old boy.

The 45-year-old Instagram influencer – who pleaded for prison release on the basis ‘her whole livelihood and savings will be lost’ if she can’t run her detox health brand –  is living in one of the most expensive areas on the Southern Highlands.

Ms Daisley is residing at Tallowood, her parents’ 4ha gated estate in the Burradoo ‘Golden triangle’, the most exclusive part of the elegant village township founded as a hill-station retreat for Sydney’s wealthy.

After successfully securing her freedom from the protection wing of Silverwater Women’s maximum security correctional centre, Ms Daisley is being ferried around in her famous horse breeder father’s customised white Range Rovers with red leather seats and vanity plates.

It is one of two of the Daisley’s personalised vehicles used to take her from her family’s mansion – which has underfloor heating, an in-room Bose music system, manicured gardens and five king-sized ensuited bedrooms – to report three times a week to Moss Vale police station.

Daisley was released on $100,000 bail in Sydney’s Downing Centre Local Court two weeks ago following a month spent behind bars charged with four counts of aggravated sexual intercourse with a child aged between 14 and 16.

Part of Ms Daisley’s court plea to walk from Silverwater was so she could work on ‘rebranding … a new product’ in her detox range while residing with her parents, whose home boasts a ‘divine garden setting’, a ‘deluxe chef’s kitchen, butler’s pantry and alfresco dining’.

Ross and Marietta Daisley bought Tallowood in 2016 before selling their other estate, Windermere Farm at Wilberforce in the Hunter Valley, the site of their thoroughbred horse business on 22 hectares on the banks of the Hawkesbury River northwest of Sydney.

Daisley was bailed last month after her lawyers said further imprisonment meant a ‘substantial financial deterrent’ to her wellness business of ‘millions of dollars’.

Ross Daisley, now aged 78,  achieved fame as the breeder of Choisir, renowned as the best three year-old sprinter in the world after it raced at Royal Ascot in 2003, and then retired to stud duty, siring yearlings worth up to $450,000 each and winners including Starspangledbanner and Olympic Glory.

The Daisleys have previously been listed among the top shareholders in premium metals stocks on the ASX.

They own half of  Nulife Cleanse Pty Ltd, parent company of Smart Cleanse which Savannah Daisley has continued to spruik on Instagram with her face on the brand.

However, Savannah has deleted all her personal social media platforms after being hit with charges of sexually assaulting the male teen.

The court heard Marietta Daisley is suffering from ovarian cancer and that her daughter would help with her care.

Her Instagram posts on @SmartCleanse include ‘Do the cells in you body react to what your mind says? Yup, that’s right, your body can’t outrun the thoughts that flow through your mind’.

Her last Instagram post on June 21 – six days before police arrested Ms Daisley after recording a conversation she had that day with the 14-year-old via a lawfully-obtained Listening Device Warrant – she wrote ‘you are your own work of art.

‘Be wilful and persistent in the creation of yourself. Life is treating you as you feel so the best way to predict your future is to create it …. and the best way to feel good is obviously by living a healthy life.’

NSW police prosecutor Sergeant Kerry-Ann McKinnon told the Downing Centre Local Court in late July that the police sting happened just over a year after officers allege a drunken Daisley had sex with the 14-year-old four times over a 24 hour period from 5pm on May 19, 2021.

‘This wasn’t a spontaneous act. There are some disclosures made about feelings prior to this,’ Sgt McKinnon said, describing the call, which cannot be released under a suppression order.

‘There are also apologies. She … attempts to shift the blame. She suggests it was mutual … and what the potential ramifications are going to be.

‘She’s guilt-tripping this child. Reminds the child of what the agreement was in respect of keeping it under wraps. Puts it in a kind of story-like, fairytale situation … how it is going to go away and never come back.’

Ms Daisley’s lawyer Gabrielle Bashir cited her client’s ‘deteriorating’ mental health inside Australia’s toughest women’s prison, as well as ‘trauma, PTSD, depression and anxiety while in custody’.

Ms Bashir said Ms Daisley’s wellness brand required ‘her direct input’ which ‘was essential otherwise the company won’t be able to operate  (and) will collapse’.

On Monday this week,   Ms Daisley visited police in Sydney’s north with her father Ross Daisley, driving up in from the Southern Highlands in his white Range Rover.

Dressed in a fur-lined coat, black skivvy and skirt, Daisley grinned after leaving Hornsby police station wehre officers agreed to drop an assault allegation by her against her 48-year-old ex-lover.

Prosecutors withdrew the charge against the man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, within the next hour, but a 12 month Apprehended Violence Order was confirmed against him.

He was ordered to comply with the conditions including not to harass, approach or threaten Ms Daisley or any of her family, or destroy any property belonging to them.

The man will serve out the AVO while living at a $7m waterfront house on Sydney’s lower north shore.
