Sam came down with the bug shortly after returning to the UK from a luxury ski trip in Val-d’Isère in the French Alps with her partner Paul Knightley and their kids Paul Jnr, seven, Rosie, five, and baby Edward.

During the holiday, Sam shared a video of the kids hitting the slopes and expressed her pride in how they had taken to skiing.

She told fans: ‘Paul Rosie’s first ever time on the real slopes … so proud of these two! Thank you Paolo for being a great coach.

‘As you can see the skiing conditions were tricky today and visibility was tough. Such an amazing experience watching my babies ski down a (nursery) mountain.’

December has not been plain sailing for Sam, as earlier this month she told her fans about a difficult week as a mother-of-three which left her feeling ‘like cr*p’.

The former TOWIE star welcomed her third child Edward in May this year, and has been open about her busy schedule juggling life as a mum to three little ones as well as her work commitments.

The TV personality reminded her followers that she ‘can’t boss it all the time’ and that although social media may look glamorous, ‘lets be honest it’s 2% of the reality’, she penned.
