Diane Kruger showed off her legs in New York City on Tuesday.

The German-born actress wore a short leather miniskirt during a visit to AOL where she was interviewed about her latest film In the Fade.

The 41-year-old added a bulky cable knit sweater with pearls sewn into the knit.

The Farewell, My Queen star sat down for an interview alongside her In the Fade director Fatih Akin.

In the crime drama, Diane stars in the role of Katja Sekerji, a woman whose life falls apart after the death of her husband and son during a terror attack in Hamburg. 

She mourns, but only for long enough to come up with a plan for revenge.

In the Fade, which opens in theaters on December 27, made its big debut at the Cannes Film festival where the beauty took home the Best Actress award.

‘I felt acute responsibility,’ Kruger, who spent six months preparing for the role, told WWD.

‘I sat in on a lot of self-help groups of families of victims. It’s something you never forget and it’s changed me as a person.’

She added, ‘You don’t need to know about the actual hate that it’s based on. The issue is everywhere.’

While promoting the film, the star was asked about what a post-Harvey Weinstein Hollywood looks like. 

‘We’ve created a space for women to come forward to talk about what’s been happening for years and years and years, and from now on, there will be that space,’ she told W Magazine. 

‘I don’t think it’s ever going to go back to that. I really don’t.’
