And on the Today show on Friday, Karl Stefanovic’s sister-in-law, Sylvia Jeffreys, appeared to hint how Karl popped the question to Jasmine.
It occurred when a diamond ring flashed up on screen, with the ring set to appear at Russell Crowe’s Art Of Divorce auction.

Just moments before the ring was shown, a picture of a prop sword and blade from Gladiator, also popped up on screen.
‘Oh, I thought this might be one for you Karl, the next time you do your lamb roast,’ Sylvia said, as the ring showed up on screen.
She added: ‘The carving.’
Sylvia didn’t clarify for viewers if she was referring to the blades or the ring, but she could of been referring to the blades with the ‘carving’ joke.

The ring featured a yellow diamond and is valued between $70,000 to $100,000.
Karl’s co-host Georgie Gardner appeared to love the ring, saying: ‘Ýes please.’
Karl – who said he wanted to buy a chariot at the auction – said he ‘can’t wait’ for the auction.

Karl previously told The Fix that he and Jasmine will ‘probably’ get married later this year.
Fans of the couple took to the Today show’s Facebook page after their commitment ceremony, to speculate the low-key event was held due to Jasmine being pregnant.
‘She looks pregnant? Why else hold a commitment ceremony?’ asked a social media user.
‘Why not just wait a decent amount of time has passed from the divorce and then get married… my money’s on a baby,’ they added.
