Mehajer allegedly orchestrated a car crash to avoid a court date in 2017.

The incident occurred on October 16 last year in western Sydney when the car he was travelling in was involved in a car crash on on Delhi Street, in Lidcombe.

Mehajer was due to appear in the Downing Centre Local Court that same day but instead was rushed to the Westmead Hospital with neck injuries.

Pictures from the scene showed Mehajer being being pulled from the vehicle and placed into a neck brace, before being treated for neck pain.

That incident followed a serious crash in 2012, in which Mehajer lost control of his $300,000 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti and ran over two women, Nhu Hua and Tuyet La.

Both women suffered serious injuries to their leg and pelvis.

Mahejar was then found guilty of negligent driving in October of the same year and was disqualified from driving for a year and sentenced to complete 150 hours of community service.

Mahejar also paid a $1.7 million settlement to the two women.
