For some employees, injecting a little fun into their 9 to 5 is the only way they can get through the working day.

But as these images show, some office workers have taken their mischievous sense of humour to the next level, staging a series of elaborate workplace pranks and wreaking havoc on the office.

One employee ensured his colleague’s Monday morning was a memorable one by plastering his desk space with countless photos of pop star Justin Bieber.

Another went to great lengths to brighten up the office décor by filling an entire room with hundreds of brightly-coloured balloons. 

From a makeshift putting green to a desk suspended from the ceiling, these brilliant pranks are enough to put your Monday morning to shame.
