Disgraceful act at McDonald’s is caught on video – and Aussies are not impressed: ‘Putrid’
- Teens walk behind counter at fast-food restaurants
- Videos show McDonald’s and Hungry Jack’s in Melbourne
- The teens pester staff, touch food and take drinks
Young Aussies are deliberately annoying and disrespecting McDonald’s workers as part of a bizarre new trend taking off on social media.
As part of the prank, the teenagers sneak into the kitchens and workspaces of the restaurants, while pretending they work at the restaurant.
In a series of videos posted to social media, a group of Melbourne teens are seen pestering staff at McDonald’s and Hungry Jack’s restaurants in Roxburgh Park, 21km north of the city’s CBD.
McDonald’s employees are heard yelling at the teens to ‘get out’ as they cross behind the counter.

In a video shared to TikTok by user Jamal Omar (pictured), a group of teens are seen pestering staff at McDonald’s in Roxburgh Park, north of Melbourne’s CBD
‘Can you get out? Seriously get out! If you don’t get out I’m calling the cops’, on employee threatens.
One teen walks through the kitchen and even makes his way to the drive-through window where he pops his head out and waves to driver waiting to pay for their food.
He then tells staff that the group are there for their first shift of work before the McDonald’s employee for a second time threatens to call the police.
‘Get out before I call he cops on all of you,’ the employee said.
‘Grow the f**k up and get out right now,’ another McDonald’s employee is heard yelling.
In another video, the group pull the same prank on staff at Hungry Jacks.
They then walk through the kitchen at the fast-food chain as one teen is seen pouring himself a blue slushy as a young worker watches on helplessly.
The teen is heard yelling out ‘slurpy coming up’ as he walks behind the registers before giving the beverage to his group of friends.
The young man is then seen putting pineapple and onion rings into the deep fryer before grabbing burger buns with his hands.
He is then seen putting his hands in an open container of food before attempting to pour himself a drink, but is stopped by a staff member.
‘Zack that’s stealing,’ his friends are heard yelling as the teen tries to pour himself a slushy.
Many Aussies have slammed the prank as ‘disrespectful’.

‘I don’t understand how this is amusing? Instead of disrespecting people at their jobs maybe ya’ll could apply and do something useful,’ one person wrote.
Another added: ‘Bunch of delinquents.’
‘Disgusting,’ a third added.
‘Imagine doing this on the month of Ramadan. Putrid. May allah bless those workers.
