Sydney mum, Sharifah, swears by the ‘Envirosafe Fly Trap’ from Bunnings Warehouse that successfully traps hundreds of flies in under an hour. 

The $10 insect trap features an effective but non-toxic bait that flies simply cannot resist and lures them to their sudden fate. 

A shopper has shared the essential gadget every house hold needs this summer to help purge pesky flies. 

To use simply mix the Envirosafe bait with water and hang the trap up in a place outside to lure insects. 

The innovative contraption is certainly worth the buy but only if you can handle the putrid smell that comes from capturing flies.

Many have shared that they dispose the flies in either their compost bin, down the toilet or even dig holes in the ground for them.  

Although if you can stomach the smell it is suggested to give the contraption a swish or keep topping it up with water to attract even more flies.

How to make your own fly bait: 

1.  Chop one banana peel into small pieces and place it inside the trap.

2.  Add in two tablespoons of flour.

3.  Add in one tablespoon of sugar.

4.  Pour one cup of water into the fly trap.

Simply chop up one banana peel, mix it with two tablespoons of flour, one tablespoon of sugar and a cup of water.
