The government has urged people to practice social distancing to stop COVID-19 from spreading.

People have been instructed to keep 1.5 metres apart at all times to prevent new cases of the virus from overwhelming the health system.

The revolting incident comes as an irate Aldi shopper was filmed coughing in a worker’s face after going on an explosive rant at the check out.

The argument started when an unidentified woman accused two male employees of stealing hundred dollar notes from her purse at the supermarket’s store in Mount Druitt, western Sydney, over the weekend.

Two male workers told her they didn’t have any hundred dollar notes, but the woman began swearing at them and repeatedly asking where her money was.

‘Get it out of your f***ing till, c***!!’ she demanded.

The employee shielded his face with catalogues as the woman leaned towards him and coughed in his face.

She yelled, ‘you f***ing grubs!’ as she stormed out of the supermarket.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has previously accused Australians of not taking the coronavirus serious enough and ignoring restrictions and practices to best prevent further cases of the disease.

Victorian Minister for Health & Ambulance Services Jenny Mikakos said we all have a role to play to stop the disease from spreading.

‘It is by only adhering strictly to all the advice around social distancing and all the public health messages about health hand hygiene and staying home if you are unwell that we will tackle this issue,’ she said.
