A young woman was disgusted to find bugs in her homebrand Woolworths pasta – sharing video of the find on Facebook.

Rae Stewart, from Hallam, Victoria, found the small insects wriggling among her newly purchased penne and took to Facebook to share her outrage. 

‘Hey Woolies, do you wanna tell me why there’s bugs in my pasta?’ Ms Stewart asked.

'Hey Woolies, do you wanna tell me why there's bugs in my pasta?' Ms Stewart asked

‘Hey Woolies, do you wanna tell me why there’s bugs in my pasta?’ Ms Stewart asked

‘Wanna get a refund. I nearly ate that s***,’ she continued. 

A bug was captured perched inside the opened pasta packet and others can be seen on the steel bench.

‘Woolies wanna tell me why there are actually live moving grubs in my freshly opened pasta? This isn’t “fresh,”” she said in a caption.   

Ms Stewart purchased the bag of Pasta Penne for $0.65 from Woolworths in Hallam.
