Disney introduced wine slushies and fans are going gaga

The happiest place on Earth just got a whole lot happier, thanks to Disney Parks’ latest boozy beverage addition that has left social media users in a total frenzy for the new fruity concoction.

From Mickey Mouse ice cream to Tonga toast and Dole whips, Disney Parks offer a selection of food and drink that is entirely their own. But it is the latest addition to the menu at Disney Springs in Florida – alcoholic wine slushies – that are proving to be the most popular item yet.

Available in strawberry shiraz and mango moscato, the chilled drinks make the perfect addition to a day of perusing the park in the sunshine state – at least for those visitors who are over the age of 21.

The slushies are available at Amorette’s Patisserie, where users are checking in on Instagram to show off their tipsy sips – suggesting that the beverages could well be the key to surviving the notoriously long Disney lines.

Social media going wild for the wine slushies that are not too far off from today’s frosé trend.

One fanatic took to Instagram to share her obsession with the pink drink saying, ‘so new favorite drink at Disney Springs?’

Commentors were just as excited about the park’s frozen wine introduction

‘Ummmm yes please!?’ one wrote on an Instagram photo.

‘Omg I’m literally dying!!! I need that!!!’ another added.

‘Yes we need to go get one or two… three perhaps,’ one desperate Instagram user wrote.

‘THIS is why Disney is my favorite place! It’s like they just get me lol!’ a wine lover added.

While in line for a buzzed slushie, customers can also peruse Amorette’s other goods such as Disney themed pastries or, for the pickier drinkers, champagne and sparkling wine.

The restaurant, originally established in the 1900’s, was re-opened just last spring and has since seen a major spike in popularity. We have a feeling the wine slushies will attract a lot more traffic for their treats that make Disney the happiest place on Earth.

But this isn’t the first time that Disney has released a drink that’s sky rocketed to viral fame.

In April Disneyland Starbucks in Anaheim, California, released a limited edition Pink Pegasus Frappuccino, following the craze of the not-so-popular but very trendy Unicorn Frappuccino.

Fans took to Instagram to share photos with the rare bubblegum pink drink. The bubbly beverage strayed away from the eclectic flavor combination of its Unicorn predecessor and instead stuck with classic coffeehouse flavors of white mocha and raspberry.

One YouTuber described the flavor as ‘strawberry shortcake’, making the limited edition mythical-themed drink a catch compared to the dismal reviews of the Unicorn concoction.
