The problem was with the Disney+ website, while the mobile app and TV app appeared to be unaffected. 

A Disney+ spokesperson told MailOnline in an email: ‘We have identified and resolved the issue that temporarily impacted Disney+ on select platforms. We apologize for the inconvenience.’

Of those reports, 69 per cent said they were having problems with the website, 22 per cent with video streaming, and nine per cent with the app.

One user wrote: ‘Hey DisneyPlus, I’m having issues with the website. It says ‘403 Forbidden’ and I can’t open the website properly. Is the server down?’

Another added: ‘Disneyplus seems to be down. Getting 403 forbidden.’

And one wrote: ‘Was gonna catch up on disney+ stuff and it’s down.’
