  • His animatronic figure stands among his predecessors at The Hall of Presidents
  • He’s dressed in his signature suit and is designed to speak in front of audiences
  • ‘From the beginning, America has been a nation defined by its people,’ it says

Walt Disney World just unveiled President Donald Trump’s animatronic figure on stage in the Liberty Square area at the Magic Kingdom theme park.

The 45th and current President of the United States has officially joined the Hall of Presidents, standing beside some of his predecessors including a seated Abraham Lincoln.

Twitter couldn’t help but make fun of the Trump replica with one user blasting it as ‘scarier than the real thing.’

The robotic figure says ‘Above all, to be American is to be an optimist — to believe that we can always do better — and that the best days of our great nation are still ahead of us.’

The Hall of Presidents has been a significant fixture at the Magic Kingdom since 1971 where visitors enter the theater inside a building that resembles Independence Hall in Philadelphia.

The long-standing attraction has a revamped 25-minute show about the history of the United States and those who governed it.

But Twitter users were too busy mocking the figure to talk about the historical attraction as one user said ‘the Trump robot in the Hall of Presidents looks like a 71-year-old Chucky doll.’

A different tweet read ‘Trump somehow looks “worse” than the real Trump. Like someone left him out in the sun too long.’

A lot of people were unhappy that an animatronic figure of Trump was going to be displayed at Disney World.

Around the time of Trump’s inauguration a Change.org petition was created with people protesting against the businessman being in the Hall of Presidents.

The petition, which drew support from more than 15,000 people falling just short of its goal of 25,000, demanded that Disney not allow of Trump to speak due to his ‘degrading, insulting and demeaning’ comments, the New York Times reported.
