A DIY enthusiast has revealed how she revamped her kitchen tiles by using vinyl and paint, costing her just £54 to execute.

Kat Louise Cole, from Doncaster, used inexpensive vinyl rolls in order to update the dull tiles, which had been painted in grey tone she hated.

She explained how she unsuccessfully attempted to remove the grey paint from the tiles, before resorting to buying four rolls of £10 vinyl and a bucket of £14 white paint from B&Q, bringing the overall cost of her operation to just £54.

She placed the self-adhesive vinyl over the tiles after applying a slick of white paint, and impressed the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group with her budget kitchen transformation.
